The Story of Alexandar Vodka
In 2003, "ALKO" Zoran Ltd, Export Import - Tetovo introduced vodka of unparalleled taste and smoothness: Alexandar Vodka. Soon after its introduction Alexandar Vodka become leading brand in R. Macedonia.
But its delicious taste did not stay closed in the borders of its originate country. Impressed by its quality and adequate market price, at the beginning a couple of companies from neighboring countries, afterwards and from the rest of the world, started importing it.
The owner of the company Zoran Markovski dreamed of creating a vodka with a taste as radiant as its presentation.
"I wanted to create premium vodka, but without premium prize" says Zoran. "When I tasted alcohol from the finest wheat, four times distillated and seven times filtrated, in over 200 distillation steps, together with naturally pure, spring mountain water from Sharplanina, I realized we had perfect combination".
Today, with over 70% of the production assigned for export, Alexandar Vodka is leading vodka in the region and competing the world famous premium brands at the global market.
